When planning a trip, I usually make a wide list of places I want to go and see. Then I mark these destinations on a map and eliminate excessive places, so that we will be left a convenient route to drive during our stay there. Our Portugese roundtrip turned out like this:
During his seventh month, Tristan gained so many new skills: *he is talking by using more vocals than before; *he started coming on his fours, hands and feet, like in yoga cat-cow position and crawling; *he made his way from belly-time to sitting position without any help from us. Here’s a short video of some moments:
We went to Black & White photo studio with a bunch of Moms a few weeks ago. They rent a playroom and as an extra service they offer taking photos as well. There are two quite spacious open playrooms and for photoshoot there’s a separate room with various items, such as toys, different baby carriages, baby shoes etc, that can be used. As we went there with a group, everything went quite in a hurry – I think Tristan and me were infront of the camera maximum for 6 minutes. Many said that they are kind of disappointed, but I think I’m rather pleased with the result. Here are some shots of me and Tristan:
Oh boy, sleeping 3 hours in a row is a dream… 😴 I have had that opportunity two times since the beginning of November 🤦♀️ Not speaking about sleeping through the night as the last time was perhaps in the end of June… Lately we have had nights where Tristan hasn’t sleep even 1 hour in a row. Don’t know whether his teeth might be hurting his gums. 🤷♀️
We know that vegetables lose vitamins when boiled. I wanted to make a sweet potato puree without boiling the food, BUT we do not have a food steamer in our household. Using a tip from other Moms and a lovely friend of mine, I managed to steam the food by using existing tools as can be seen here:
Just add a little water in a bottom of a cooking pot and steam veges in stainless strainer above the hot water in a low heat. Do not forget to use a pot cover!
It has been nearly five months since I gave birth and I have still a few extra kilogrammes to lose. Since year 2019 has just begun, I decided to make my first half of the year’s purpose to get back my previous weight. One major factor on achieving the goal is food. Here is one very easy and fast healthy bite:
Paris, one of the most romantic cities in the World… I went there with my sister! 😊It’s just that my partner had already visited it once and for some reason was not so enthusiastic to go there again. But my sister was ready to go and so we made our 4-day super-budget trip there in September a few years ago. I loved it and would go back again if the opportunity would arise!
Sleep patterns is a word combination that describes our fourth month the most. Our huge purpose was to get Tristan sleep in his bed and for that I started putting him sleep in his bed during daytime as well. Eventually he managed to sleep 1,5-2 hours in his bed during daytime, but that lasted for only a half week or so. Continue reading “Our fourth month with Tristan”
